Hydrokonsert på Festplassen
Ralph Myerz & the Jack Herren Band var blandt artistene.
En av mine store favoritter, William Hut, spilte også.
Sissel og Oslo-filharmonien avsluttet kvelden med Lord of the Rings symfonien.
En vakker sensommerskveld sammen med tusener av andre på Hydros gratis’ jubileumskonsert på Festplassen midt i Bergen sentrum. Kvelden startet tidlig Ole Hamres fantastiske bestillingsverk “Hydromatepoeticon”. En moderne jazzet, elektronisk, og energirik komposisjon, laget blandt annet med lyder tatt opp ved Njord-plattformen.
Videre kom Nathalie Nordnes, William Hut, og Ralph Myerz & the Jack Herren Band. Til slutt kom kveldens høydepunkt som var Lord of The Rings symfonien, fremført av Oslo Filharmoniske Orkester, Sølvguttene, Bergen Operakor, Oslo Bach Kor, Paddy Maloney, Annbjørg Lien, Steinar Ofsdal, og ikke minst hun som alle ventet på - Sissel Kyrkjebø. Med varierende men bra musikk ble det en flott konsertkveld, selv om jeg som alle andre savnet å høre Sissel synge mer enn 15 min på 3 timer.

Finding the village barn may not have been much of a challenge for my German removal firm, but carting my awkwardly shaped belongings up the narrow staircase in the barn certainly was! For long term storage it is important to take up very little space as you possibly can by stacking items upwards and also to keep belonging safe and dry. The next time I shall certainly invest in green, recyclable boxes when moving house again.
