Vi hadde knapt reklamert noe for festen, og hadde kun ca 150 på forhåndsbetaling, så vi var spente å se hvordan kvelden utviklet seg. Vi var noe bekymret da det kun var et fåtall som var kommet i 10-tiden. Men en time etter var det kø utenfor, som skulle vise seg å vare og vokse utover kvelden og natten. Vi var noe underbemannet og hadde regnet med ca. 400.

Bandene og DJ’ene spilte opp, folkemengden begynte å fylle hele kjellerlokalet, og det gikk unna i de tre barene. Garderoben ble sprengt like etter midnatt, og improviserte løsninger ble raskt løst av de to med ansvaret. Tross totalt kaos ble ingen jakker hverken stjålet, rotet bort, eller glemt. Godt jobbet! Vaktene gjorde en god jobb og hadde full kontroll hele natta.

Folket virket som de trivdes og koste seg, tross trengsel. Men noen steder i lokalet var det mulighet for å slappe av og strekke ut beina. Alle typer mennesker var innom; AHO-studenter, fintfolk, skatere, lekre damer, kjekke gutter, unge, og litt eldre, TV’fjes, kjendiser, og alle var de med på å opprettholde den gode stemningen. Maten gikk unna og ble utsolgt.
 

“Ett kvarter før stengetid gikk det tomt for drikkevarer„

Spriten gikk etterhvert tom, og kvart på tre, ny tid, så ble også siste ølflaske solgt. Det var minimalt med vin igjen, og det passet perfekt da folkemengden måtte ut til klokken tre. “Evakueringen” gikk raskt og smertefritt. Ute på plassen samlet det seg en stor mengde som ønsket å bli med på nachspielet til 1′klassingene, på skolepøbben. Nå var det vår tur.

Dagen etter kunne vi konstatere at festen var en suksess, med ny besøksrekord, og et solid overskudd. Knappe 1000-lappen pr hodet av førsteklassingene. Disse vil bli investert i en ny happening. Sett bort ifra to AHO-studenter som var klar for å slost, og noe tagging (som er blitt anmeldt), så gikk festen smertefritt for seg. Ryddig dagen etter gikk også fint.
